You will be a member of the HR Division providing localised HR support to the Finance Division, contributing to the improvement and implementation of local HR processes.

YOUR SKILLS

You will have previous experience working administratively in an HR area, working with multiple processes and working to tight regulations.

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures;
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will be part of the Finance Division’s local HR team, which supports over 300 staff across three main sites in Cambridge. This position is based at Greenwich House, Madingley Road.
The team carries out a variety of HR administrative duties to support staff and line managers through the entire employee life cycle. You will play a vital role in supporting the Finance Division by coordinating various HR functions to ensure smooth operations.

THE ROLE

You will contribute to creating a supportive and efficient workplace, coordinating and supporting the Finance Division on all day-to-day HR functions including recruitment and onboarding processes, probation, sickness and contractual matters.

Duties include:

  • Providing advice to individuals and managers on HR policy and employment relations issues;
  • Supervising the routine operational activities of the FinHR team;
  • Coordinating the recruitment processes;
  • Carrying out general administration using the HR system for the University.
