Job Description Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness and acts as a role model to other colleagues. Responds to all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. Maintains records of personnel-related data (personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and ensure all employment requirements are met. Liaises with other departments or functions and manages all internal and external colleague transfers. Assist with payroll and benefits related administration. Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters. Collaborates with management to resolve employee relations issues. Helps enforce resort policies and procedures, promoting a positive work culture. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ working in a similar role with experience in Maldives at a 5-star luxury facility will be an added advantage. Familiarity with local Labour Law and employment regulations with knowledge of HR processes and best practices. Strong ability in using Microsoft 365 (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular). Good command of the English language, with clear communication skills for effective coordination and reporting. Enjoys working with a multi-cultural team. Ability to handle large amount of data with confidentiality. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively. Strong team player who can collaborate effectively and assist colleagues when required.
