Position Overview: We are seeking an HR Coordinator to assist our HR team with various tasks and projects. This unpaid volunteer role requires a commitment of 5-10 hours per week and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the animal welfare sector.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience or interest in HR, administration, or volunteer coordination.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and positive attitude.
Enthusiasm for animal welfare and working in a collaborative, volunteer-driven environment.

Coordinate volunteer recruitment efforts, including posting opportunities and scheduling interviews. Intake and triage HR inquiries from different teams to appropriate HR team members.
Organize training sessions, meetings, and HR events for volunteers.
Manage and update volunteer databases and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Help draft HR policies and communication materials.
Assist with onboarding and orientation programs to support new volunteers.
