Position Overview: We are seeking an HR Coordinator to assist our HR team with various tasks and projects. This unpaid volunteer role requires a commitment of 5-10 hours per week and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the animal welfare sector.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience or interest in HR, administration, or volunteer coordination.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and positive attitude.

  • Enthusiasm for animal welfare and working in a collaborative, volunteer-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate volunteer recruitment efforts, including posting opportunities and scheduling interviews. Intake and triage HR inquiries from different teams to appropriate HR team members.

  • Organize training sessions, meetings, and HR events for volunteers.

    Manage and update volunteer databases and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Help draft HR policies and communication materials.

  • Assist with onboarding and orientation programs to support new volunteers.

  • Collaborate with the other HR team members to improve HR processes and volunteer engagement initiatives.
