Responsibilities:

ABOUT YOUR FUTURE ROLE

We are looking for a country HR lead who is enthusiastic about owning and running the local people agenda, delivering on the core HR activities, and working on the culture, engagement and change in Denmark together with his/her team and in close collaboration with the local Country General Manager and the Danish leadership team. An important part of the job is also to engage and work with local employee representatives and labor relation matters, as well as to contribute to HR initiatives both on the Nordic and Group level.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE WILL BE:

  • Delivering on the core country HR activities in Denmark together with a small but effective team consisting of an HR Business Partner, employment lawyer and HR student and working in close collaboration with different HR Centers of Expertise functions and business unit HR Business Partners in a matrix organisation
  • Being accountable for providing full-scale HR business partnering to the Country General Manager and his direct organisation
  • Representing HR and being a courageous and trustworthy sparring partner and member of the country leadership team in Denmark
  • Ensuring continuously efficient and effective delivery and development of administrative and operational HR tasks and processes at the local level in collaboration with HR Shared Services
  • Being in charge of labour relations and union negotiations together with our Danish based employment lawyer and collaborating closely with our employee representatives in DenmarkIn all of the above, working closely with the rest of the Nordic and Group HR functions, and as an individual, delivering a seamless experience of ‘ONE HR’ to leaders and employees

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Relevant academic background (e.g. a bachelor or master’s degree)
  • 8+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in an international matrix organisation; previous leadership experience as an advantage
  • Experience in wide range of HR tasks such as recruiting, compensation & benefits, learning & development, performance management, coaching, workforce planning, employee relations and health & safety
  • Solid knowledge of Danish labour law and experience with working with employee representatives
  • Experience and can-do attitude in driving results and deliver solutions in collaboration with multiple stakeholders – it comes naturally to you to build relations on all levels in the organisation and by heart like working with and through people
  • In addition to Danish, you have excellent English skills, both written and verbal
