Are you a strategic HR leader with deep expertise in UK & Ireland employment law, a passion for transformation, and the ability to partner at the highest levels of business?
We are seeking an experienced Country HR Partner to join the EMEA division of Fresenius Medical Care a global leader in healthcare at a pivotal moment of organisational change.
This role is both strategic and operational, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver HR strategies that drive performance, enhance employee experience, and support our transition to a matrix HR model. You’ll partner with senior leaders, HR Centres of Expertise (CoEs), and Shared Services to manage the full employee lifecycle from talent acquisition to exit and play a key role in continuous improvement projects across the UK and Ireland.

This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. This role will be a hybrid position, with requirements to attend our head office based in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire and to travel to clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Deliver HR strategies that align with business transformation goals. Work closely with local leadership teams to embed these changes.
  • Employee Relations & Legal Compliance: Advise on complex employee relations cases. Ensure compliance with employment law. Maintain strong relationships with Works Council and unions. Oversee collective bargaining agreements.
  • Employee Experience: Build strong relationships with leaders and employees. Provide coaching and guidance on people matters. Work with CoEs on talent, performance, learning, and rewards.
  • HR Transformation & Change Management: Support the move to a future-ready HR model. Streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Talent & Performance Enablement: Drive performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • HR Analytics: Use Workday, Dovetail, and HRIS tools to provide insights. Track progress and support better decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Projects: Lead or support HR projects across regions and countries. Promote harmonisation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • HR Technology: Serve as a local super-user for Workday and Dovetail. Promote system adoption and optimisation.
