The responsibilities of Essar Capital as investment manager of EGFL include: * Implementing and managing investments and divestments * Monitoring performance of the portfolio * Preparing and delivering financial reports of EGFL * Implementing and overseeing appropriate policies and procedures Essar Capital comprises professionals with extensive experience in investment, strategy, financing, M&A and consulting Responsibilities § Assist Senior Associate in evaluating deals, building financial models and creating valuation reports § Perform market research to identify new investment opportunities in their respective sector § Research about the target company and communicate with their existing customer to gather data § Research on potential competitors of the target company § Gather industry information by performing primary and secondary research § Perform valuation analysis via modelling § Review and summarize confidential information memorandums (CIMs) that contains information about future potential investment opportunities § Monitor the portfolio companies with the senior associate, assist in sourcing deals and conducting transactions § Assist and advise Management in the development and implementation of the acquired company’s business strategy § Assist in acquisition of future companies and sourcing of capital § Analyze potential exit opportunities for the current portfolio investment under Essar Capital The Person § The individual must have 3+ years of experience in asset management/private equity § The individual must have the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment § Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess the economic performance / analysis of companies and industries § Strong organizational skills, process management and time management skills. § Strong oral and written communication, including the ability to communicate effectively across regional teams. § Must contain advanced analytical capabilities § Proficiency in MS Office Academic qualifications § Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an institute of repute § CA/CFA Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from an institute of repute
