Description The HR Director is primarily responsible for all planning regarding the human resources and development of a company’s workforce. The HR Director must be able to transform all policies into executable plans and departmental procedures. Some of their daily responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the human resources department. Recruiting, and hiring personnel. Managing, and onboarding procedures for all company employees, providing support to company employees regarding personal and professional incidents. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Abides by and demonstrates the company Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis. Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Acts as a key connection between Leadership Team and PHH Staff members Ensures employees follow all policies and procedures Assessing reports provided by team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs Suggests changes in policies and procedures based on employee and company needs Research industry compensation standards to create and maintain salary structures Administers employee benefits Responsible for filing workers compensation Injury reports and all necessary documentation and follow-up Maintains confidentiality of personnel related information to include employee personnel files. Ensures staff licensure and HR Records are maintained in accordance with AHCA requirements and guidelines Creates recruitment plans, interview schedules and overall candidate onboarding and orientation Ensures that all company policies and procedures meet state and national labor laws Supervises all HR activities, communications, reports, requests, and documents created and received by the team Attends interdepartmental meetings with other managers Oversees workplace investigations, disciplinary action, and termination procedures Educate, counsel, and coach staff members Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance Interrelates with coworkers, clinical staff, visitors, and other departmental personnel in a tactful, diplomatic manner while always exercising discretion, good judgement, and confidentiality. Ensures workflow processes are timely and cost-effective. Works with minimal supervision. Proactively handles customer issues as they arise and seeks assistance from others as needed. Maintains an understanding of the company’s scope of services. Maintains a professional image. Uses appropriate phone etiquette. Promotes a customer friendly atmosphere for all visitors and always ensures client confidentiality. Participates in accreditation program. Performs other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in human resources management preferred. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in human resources or related field. Proficiency using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Able to prioritize and manage time effectively and make independent decisions when necessary. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues. Experience in educating and coaching staff. Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations. Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy. Ability to give presentations. Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Available to work after hours and weekends when required. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order; ability to travel to all business locations for training and/or meetings as required. Working Conditions: Office Environment. May be exposed to biological hazards.
