As a HR Director, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. , partnering with business leaders on organizational design, leadership development, employee engagement / retention, performance management, and employment laws and regulations. What you’ll be doing: Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement. Address employee grievances and mediate workplace disputes. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal equity. Ensure adherence to labor laws and HR best practices. Maintain and update HR policies and procedures. Leverage HRIS systems for data-driven decision-making. Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for leadership. Partner with the business on human resource planning, allocation, and structure, organizational goal setting, including key performance indicators Provide guidance and coaching to managers in all aspects of HR; Identify people issues, formulate and implement solutions to enhance employee retention and engagement Ensure all people policies, procedures and processes are aligned with the culture and values Direct all risk management and compliance activities to minimize exposure with safety, general liability, business operations and employment related matters. What you’ll need to be successful: 7+ years of experience leading a people function Proven strategic planning skills with the ability to translate strategies from plans to action Exceptional people management and relationship building skills; a high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness and the ability to influence a diverse range of people Risk management experience with hands on experience overseeing complex legal matters, including litigation. Exceptional organizational, project management, meeting facilitation, and communication skills (both verbal and written) Multicultural competence and ability to lead and manage others through a lens of diversity and inclusion Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high energy environment and manage complex projects, deadlines and competing priorities for a team Master in Human Resources is preferred Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
