Our HR Executive is responsible for all aspects of leave processing, staff health insurance, support staff recruitment and onboarding. They ensure that all aspects of the applications to the Ministry of Manpower are running smoothly and efficiently. This role will manage the relationships with our staff and external providers. A successful candidate will be an experienced team player who brings enthusiasm and a proactive mindset.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma/degree holder in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with a preference for candidates with expatriate management (administration of work pass processes and international relocation logistics)
  • High attention to detail, strong documentation, and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency with HR software, MS Office and Google Workspace
  • Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Adaptable to changes and willing to multitask
  • Prior work experience in an international school environment will be preferred though not essential
Responsibilities
  • Support and manage recruitment activities including ensuring job descriptions are kept up-to-date, job posting on the school website and job websites, coordinating the shortlisting of applicants, scheduling interviews and ensuring reference checks are completed.
  • Support day-to-day administration of all staff.
  • Attend and answer regular recruitment and HR-related enquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and providing assistance.
  • Coordinate the new staff arrival and onboarding process which includes the organisation of IT equipment, email account provisioning and staff access cards as well as ensuring all relevant agreements and policies are reviewed and signed.
  • Maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accessibility by staff and timely updating of all employee information.
  • Register and ensure that all staff and contractual dependents (where applicable) are covered by the School’s medical insurance and that information surrounding the School’s medical insurance cover is communicated clearly when necessary.
  • Support and assists on the Committee of Private Education (CPE) / EduTrust license process.
  • Act in accordance with relevant legislation in Singapore, as well as UK guidelines, particularly with regards to educational provision, health and safety initiatives and child safeguarding and ensure that all students and staff maintain these standards
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and any other HR tasks assigned by the team lead.
  • Support and manage the international mobility process of all staff, ensure smooth relocation through ensuring all necessary required relocation documents and processes are completed in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Work pass application and issuance
  • Relocation arrangement
  • Accommodation and transport arrangementAccounting opening and claims
