     HR & Finance Summer Internship (Full Time)     The HR & Finance Summer Internship is a full-time, seasonal opportunity designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in church administration and financial operations. This program equips college students or recent graduates with meaningful exposure to Human Resources and Finance within a ministry setting. Interns will contribute directly to daily operations, seasonal initiatives, and process improvements while gaining mentorship and professional development   ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide administrative and project support to the Human Resources and Finance teams * Assist with data entry, record maintenance, and system updates * Support documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking processes * Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and financial information * Assist with onboarding, communication coordination, and internal process support * Support accounts payable, receivable, and expense reconciliation tasks as assigned * Contribute to process improvement initiatives and seasonal projects * Participate in team meetings, training opportunities, and professional development activitie * Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and timely task completion * Uphold organizational values while supporting ministry operations REQUIRED COMPETENCIES * Adaptability * Applied Learning * Collaboration * Communication * Cultural Competence * Teamwork VCC's expectations of staff are that we model healthy discipleship by being an active participant within the life of the church.
