Responsibilities

HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES (EXPECTED 30 HOURS PER WEEK)

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for hourly staff. This includes all New Hire Orientations.
  • Coordinate training for the hourly staff in conjunction with the leadership team.
  • Maintain employee records (Performance Reviews, Disciplinary Records, I-9’s, W-4’s, etc.).

o Work with leadership team to ensure timely completion of performance reviews (90-day and annual).

  • Support first level employee relations investigations with guidance from the HR Director.
  • Provide guidance to leadership and employees on conflict resolution.
  • Manage Short Term Disability, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Americans with Disabilities (ADA) processes for employees with support from the HR Director.

BOOKKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES (EXPECTED 10 HOURS PER WEEK)

  • Serve as support and first point of contact for the Lake City Plant Manager
  • Perform general bookkeeping duties including but not limited to:
    o Inventory reporting to the Corporate Controller
    o Process Purchase Orders

o Process invoices related to Freight

  • Ad-hoc reporting as requested by the Corporate Controller
