The HR Generalist is the first point of contact for the HR team. Essential Duties:   * Conduct accident investigations and report findings to prevent future incidents; serve as liaison for workers’ compensation claims and maintain OSHA logs and reporting * Prepare and track documentation for FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and other leaves; communicate with employees and management * Conduct company/employee investigations and support performance management * Serve as main point of contact for HR inquiries; prepare HR communications, newsletters, and ensure required postings are current * Coordinate full-cycle recruitment including job postings, candidate review, onboarding, and retention efforts * Assist with employee engagement, recognition programs, and events * Maintain personnel, medical, and payroll files; ensure compliance with regulations and track required certifications and reporting * Support HRIS data entry, reporting, audits, and administrative functions * Assist with coordination of internal programs, including employee scholarship program All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility.
