Position Overview The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the organization’s human resources functions, with a strong focus on Learning & Development (L&D), Performance Management, Employee Relations, and Workday HRIS administration. This role ensures HR programs align with company objectives and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring the HR Generalist to be in our Alexandria office three (3) days per week and allowing remote work for the remaining days. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. · 7+ years of HR experience with exposure to L&D, performance management, and employee relations. · Workday proficient · Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. · All other duties as assigned · Duties and assignments are subject to change Essential Functions o Learning & Development · Design, implement, and monitor training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. · Partner with managers to identify development needs and create learning paths. · Coordinate external training resources and maintain compliance with internal policies. o Performance Management · Administer the performance review process, ensuring consistency and fairness. · Support managers in setting goals, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues. · Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend improvement strategies. o Employee Relations · Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers on workplace issues. · Investigate and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and policy violations. · Promote a positive work environment through proactive engagement initiatives. o Workday HRIS · Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and ensure system integrity. · Generate reports and dashboards for HR metrics and compliance. · Support HR process automation and troubleshoot system issues.
