Atlantic Coast Mortgage is seeking an HR Generalist. This position is responsible for supporting all day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Department and participating in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned. This position requires full-time, on-site work at our corporate headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. Job Responsibilities The development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with the company’s strategic objectives Providing guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues and questions Maintaining department compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations Conducting semi-monthly payroll processing, preparing reports, and maintaining required records Supporting the full life cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through onboarding Administering employee benefit and wellness programs and promoting programs within the organization Qualifications Proven experience working as an HR Generalist or similar position in a dynamic organization Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and conflict-resolution skills Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Experience running payroll and a knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations is preferred, but not required
