The Human Resources Advisor is a trusted partner to leaders and employees across Bayshore Healthcare’s Integrated Care Solutions. Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, you will deliver hands‑on, practical HR support that strengthens leadership capability, enhances employee engagement, and supports business growth. This is a hybrid role, with time split between our Markham office and Transitional Care Units located across the GTA and Durham Region. You’ll work closely with leaders in the field while remaining connected to a collaborative HR team environment. What You’ll Do Act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned client groups, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and talent development. Coach and support leaders through complex people situations, including investigations, discipline, terminations, and conflict resolution. Partner with leaders on performance reviews, promotions, compensation changes, and annual salary and bonus processes. Champion employee engagement initiatives, lead survey debriefs, and support action planning to strengthen workplace culture. Support organizational change and contribute to HR programs, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Manage HR operations including HRIS updates (PeopleSoft/Procura), reporting, credential tracking, and transition of new hires from Talent Acquisition systems. Oversee leave of absence processes, documentation, tracking, and return‑to‑work coordination. Prepare and facilitate HR training sessions and compose a monthly employee newsletter. Promote compliance with employment legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and internal policies. Who You Are You have 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a multi‑site, service‑driven organization. You bring strong knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations, coaching, and change management. You’re confident advising and influencing leaders at all levels with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. You’re highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced, growing environment. You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. You have post‑secondary education in Human Resources; CHRP designation (or working toward it) is an asset. You value collaboration and enjoy being part of a supportive, team‑based HR function.
