Description Position Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will perform HR Generalist level tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations and employee relations of CIP Group’s client. We are looking for candidates located in MA, CT, RI, and NH. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Client-Facing HR Support: Will be a key point of contact for client company, addressing HR inquiries and ensuring consistent service delivery. Manage employee relations issues, responding to inquiries about challenging employees, employee disciplinary procedures including warnings, terminations and more complex matters. Serve as a lead investigator for a client for issues in the areas of retaliation, discrimination and harassment. Provide support during client meetings, ensuring that HR services are aligned with client needs and expectations. Compliance and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring that client practices comply with legal requirements. Participate in the review and update of HR policies and procedures, including handbooks, recommending improvements based on best practices. General Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing HR-related events for client. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Director of HR Services. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to investigate, and conduct confidential interviews of complaints, putting together feedback reports and recommendations in a timely manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and ask for support when handling complex projects. Understanding multi-state employment-related laws and regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with technology and the ability to quickly learn other technology as needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience conducting employee investigations 3 - 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field. Work toward HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required.
