Job Description We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented HR Generalist to support daily Human Resources operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for onboarding, employee benefits support, benefits billing and reporting, HR project administration, and providing responsive support to employees and managers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal direction while managing multiple priorities. This individual should possess strong follow-through, sound judgment, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. This role requires a hands-on HR professional who is comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with employee interaction and operational support. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Employee Onboarding & HR Administration Coordinate and administer the full onboarding process for new hires Prepare onboarding materials, track required documentation, and ensure compliance with hiring requirements Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Assist with employment verifications, personnel file maintenance, and HR documentation Benefits Administration Support Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit questions and support Assist employees with benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, and benefit changes Coordinate with benefit vendors and internal payroll/finance teams as needed Support annual open enrollment processes and employee communications Monitor benefit eligibility and assist with audit activities Benefits Billing & Reporting Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and billing statements Assist with benefits-related reporting and data tracking Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and supporting documentation for HR and leadership review Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections with vendors and internal departments Employee Relations Support Provide front-line HR support to employees and supervisors Respond professionally and confidentially to employee questions and concerns Assist with routine employee relations matters and documentation Escalate more complex employee issues appropriately HR Projects & Operational Support Support HR initiatives, process improvements, and special projects Take initiative in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies Independently manage assigned responsibilities and follow projects through completion Prioritize workload effectively with minimal supervision Maintain a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and confidentiality Support employees with a customer-service-focused approach while maintaining HR compliance standards Qualifications Required Qualifications 3–5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist, operations, or HR support capacity Experience with onboarding, employee benefits administration, and HR reporting Experience reconciling benefits billing and working with vendors preferred Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service aptitude and employee support skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel AI knowledge is a huge plus Preferred Qualifications Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred Experience supporting multi-location and/or field-based workforces preferred HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus Key Competencies Self-motivated and proactive Strong customer-service mindset Communication and relationship-building Organization and time management Problem-solving and follow-through Attention to detail Confidentiality and professionalism Adaptability and teamwork Additional Information Benefit Highlights: Challenging and rewarding work environment Competitive Compensation Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan 401(K) Generous Paid Time Off Career Development
