Description The Human Resource Generalist will support the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing, tracking the onboarding, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Duties/Responsibilities: Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. Support recruits and interviews, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions Support to conduct background checks and employment eligibility verifications. Support to provide Verification of Employment Track the applicant's onboarding process Implements new hire orientation Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to benefits and leave, disciplinary matters, and training and development. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Maintain the employee records updated Support with Specials projects Support new employees with interpretation Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Ability to work with web-based software Education and Experience: Bilingual English and Spanish preferred At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred. Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. SHRM-CP preferred. Physical Requirements: Working at a computer for long periods.
