POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Talent & Culture Generalist is a key member of the Human Resources team dedicated to fostering an inspiring, engaging, and high-performance work environment aligned with the hotel’s values and strategic objectives. The Talent & Culture Generalist will collaborate closely with HR leadership and department heads to deliver comprehensive talent management, employee engagement, and culture development initiatives. This role ensures compliance with employment laws and hotel policies while promoting a workplace culture that supports the highest standards of excellence, professionalism, and guest centricity.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in HR generalist or talent management role, preferably in luxury hospitality or a high-end service environment
  • Strong knowledge of Italian labor law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and service-oriented approach
  • Curious, team player, caring about guests and employees, attention to details
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory; additional language skills are a plus
  • Strong IT skills, including HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Legal right to work in Italy
Responsibilities
  • Supports the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and offboarding
  • Partners with department managers to identify talent needs, support workforce planning, and assist in succession planning efforts
  • Coordinates and administers talent acquisition activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and selection processes
  • Delivers new hire orientation and ensures seamless onboarding experiences aligned with hotel culture and standards
  • Supports performance review cycles by guiding managers and employees on evaluation procedures, feedback, and development planning
  • Promotes employee engagement and retention by organizing events, recognition programs, and communication initiatives
  • Assists in the implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with labor laws, company policies, and hotel standards related to employee relations and workplace safety
  • Handles employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary processes confidentially and professionally, escalating when necessary
  • Collects and analyzes HR metrics to support continuous improvement of talent strategies and culture initiatives
  • Supports diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the hotel to foster an inclusive and respectful workplace
  • Ensures accurate and up-to-date maintenance of employee records and HR documentation in compliance with GDPR and hotel policies
  • Assists with HR audits, compliance reporting, and ad hoc projects as required by HR leadership
  • Understands and enforces the hotel’s emergency procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment
  • Promotes and models the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and personal conduct consistent with hotel values
  • Attends and contributes to meetings and trainings as required to continuously enhance HR knowledge and skills
