Description

ISLAND TOWER is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to support the Group's human resources and recruitment functions across its construction, infrastructure, MEP, steel fabrication, industrial, and related business sectors.

The successful candidate shall be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruitment activities, onboarding, performance management, HR administration, and compliance with applicable labour regulations. The role requires a hands-on individual capable of supporting both operational and strategic HR initiatives while ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Candidates with previous experience in construction, infrastructure, MEP, manufacturing, or industrial organizations will be preferred.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee onboarding, induction, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
  • Support employee relations and address employee queries, concerns, and grievances in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
  • Coordinate disciplinary actions, investigations, warning letters, and employee performance-related matters.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave records, absenteeism, and manpower status.
  • Coordinate annual leave planning and workforce availability requirements.
  • Support performance appraisal and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable UAE labour regulations.
  • Maintain organization charts, manpower plans, and employee databases.
  • Prepare HR reports, headcount reports, manpower reports, and management updates.
  • Coordinate employee insurance, medical, visa, labour, and related HR administrative requirements.
  • Identify training requirements and coordinate employee training programs where required.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for technical, operational, administrative, and management positions.
  • Prepare and publish job advertisements across appropriate recruitment platforms.
  • Source candidates through job portals, professional networks, referrals, databases, and other recruitment channels.
  • Screen applications and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare candidate evaluation reports and recommendations for management review.
  • Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment verification processes.
  • Assist with salary benchmarking and market research.
  • Maintain candidate databases and talent pipelines for future recruitment requirements.
  • Coordinate offer preparation, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation for successful candidates.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives and manpower requirements across the Group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources and Recruitment.
  • Previous experience within construction, infrastructure, MEP, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors is preferred.
  • Good understanding of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience within contracting, engineering, infrastructure, MEP, steel fabrication, or industrial organizations.
  • Experience recruiting technical, engineering, operational, and management personnel.
  • Knowledge of UAE visa, labour, and employee administration processes.
  • Experience supporting multi-company or group operations environments.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
