Description
  • HR GeneralistPeople & Culture • Dubai, UAE • JustlifeEvery Justlife team member — in one of our offices or working remotely from another country — should feel that the details of their working life are handled, and that someone genuinely has their back. That someone is you. This is a hands-on generalist role that runs across the entire team-member experience — offices, engagement, hiring, visas, benefits, and the data behind all of it — not a single-lane specialist seat. It is operational by design — most of your week is execution, done accurately and fast. You'll touch every person across our offices and our remote crew, and your north-star outcome is team-member experience being great. Every workflow you run and every problem you solve should make it a little more likely that a colleague would recommend Justlife as a place to work. You'll love this role if you...You're not scared of the nitty-gritty operational work — and you take pride in doing it well, not just getting it done.
  • You can't look at a repetitive, manual task without asking how AI or automation could do it faster and better.
  • You go out of your way for people — being the reason a colleague's day got easier is genuinely satisfying to you.
  • You're resourceful and solution-oriented — a closed door reads as a puzzle to solve, not a wall to stop at.
  • You want to be measured on how it actually feels to work here, not just on how many tasks you closed.
  • What you'll ownDrive team-member experience by making every touchpoint — a first day, a benefits question, an office fix — fast, warm, and reliable.
  • Office operations across offices: keep them running smoothly, well-maintained, and stocked with what people need; liaise with building management for the approvals that keep things moving, and manage the stakeholders on both sides.
  • Engagement, online and offline: design moments of connection that land for a multinational team and remote colleagues, so no one — wherever they sit — feels like an outsider.
  • Recruitment operations: coordinate interviews between hiring stakeholders and candidates and hold the communication together warmly on every side
  • Visas & compliance: apply your knowledge of DMCC regulations and UAE labour law to guide team members and execute visa processing cleanly and correctly.
  • Benefits administration: manage health insurance and the wider benefits programme so team members always know what they have and how to use it.
  • Data & reporting: own the integrity of our people data — audit it, keep it clean, and turn it into clear, structured insight for the P&C team and the VP of People & Culture, surfacing the problem and the solution before anyone has to ask.
  • Automation & AI: continuously find where AI and automation can take the manual load out of everything above, so the whole function runs leaner as we grow.

What tells us you're the one

  • You've measurably improved how a team or a workplace runs — tell us about a process you built or fixed, and the number that moved (hours saved, tickets cleared, satisfaction up).
  • You can take a manual process and show us the automation or AI workflow you'd put in its place — ideally one you've already shipped.
  • 2–4 years across HR operations, office management, or people ops — though results matter more to us than years.
  • Hands-on with an HRIS like BambooHR (or similar), and comfortable owning data quality from entry to report.
  • Working knowledge of UAE labour law and DMCC processes — or a track record of learning compliance fast and applying it accurately.
  • You read a spreadsheet and see both the story and the gap — then act on it — and you can present that story clearly enough for a VP to make a decision from it.
  • You stay calm, organized, and warm in a fast-moving, multi-national environment.
  • Bachelor's degree, or the practical experience that makes one unnecessary.
