We're seeking a HR Generalist to be the backbone of our HR operations, ensuring our team thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The HR Generalist performs many day-to-day functions of the HR Department including orientation, benefits, training, discipline, performance appraisals, research and recordkeeping functions. Why You'll Love This Role: * Be the Go-To Guardian of Confidentiality: Safeguard sensitive employee data while managing everything from personal records and payroll updates to performance reviews and benefits enrollment. * Drive Onboarding Excellence: Welcome and set up new hires with seamless orientations and system integrations—watch them hit the ground running! * Master Compliance & Support: Stay ahead of federal, state, and local regulations, process I-9s, MVRs, and unemployment claims, and ensure DOT/consortium records are flawless. * Make a Difference Daily: From coordinating FMLA/workers' comp to mailing COBRA notices, gathering accident docs, and assisting with training—your work directly empowers our people. * Collaborate & Grow: Partner with HR leaders on terminations, verifications, and reports, with opportunities to travel (5-30%) and dive into exciting projects. Key Responsibilities: * Lead smooth, engaging onboarding experiences for new hires * Maintain accurate employee records, benefits enrollments, and confidential HR data * Support payroll updates and serve as a backup for payroll processing * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations * Manage I‑9s, MVRs, unemployment claims, and DOT/consortium files * Assist with FMLA, workers’ comp, COBRA notices, and accident documentation * Partner with HR leadership on employee relations, terminations, and reporting * Coordinate training sessions and help drive HR best practices * Travel occasionally (5–30%) to support locations across multiple states Skills: * Understand developments of best practices, policies and procedures and be able to assist in development as needed * Strong knowledge of hiring process, orientation, onboarding * Sound judgment and problem solving skills * Customer focused attitude with high level of professionalism and discretion, both verbally and in written communication * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must Education and Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field * 5+ years of HR generalist experience * Strong knowledge of hiring, onboarding, and HR compliance * Excellent communication, judgment, and problem‑solving skills * High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer focus * SHRM or HRCI certification preferred What We Offer: * Competitive salary, benefits package and an ESOP Program. * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * A supportive and dynamic work environment.
