Summary The HR Generalist will serve as the primary point of contact for supervisors and the hiring team, while also providing comprehensive HR support and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR policy implementation.  In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while developing expertise across multiple areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. Working closely with leaders and the HR team, you'll have the opportunity to build strong business partnerships, contribute to key HR initiatives, and develop the skills needed for long-term career growth in Human Resources.  This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and continuously expanding their HR knowledge in a dynamic and collaborative environment.  Main Duties and Responsibilities Employee & Manager Support  * Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and supervisors, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.   * Partner with managers to address employee concerns, support positive employee relations, and promote a productive work environment.   * Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, policies, leave programs & other HR-related matters.   * Assist with conflict resolution and support workplace investigations as needed.   * Balance being an employee advocate with supporting what is right for the company.  * Support recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.   Employee Relations & Workplace Investigations  * Respond to employee concerns and workplace issues with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.   * Conduct intake meetings, gather facts, document findings, and assist in resolving employee relations matters in a fair and consistent manner.   * Support workplace investigations involving policy violations, employee complaints, performance concerns, attendance issues, and other workplace matters.   * Partner with managers to address employee performance and conduct concerns through coaching, counseling, and corrective action processes.   * Prepare investigation summaries, maintain confidential records, and ensure appropriate documentation is completed and retained.   * Collaborate with HR leadership, as appropriate, on complex employee relations matters.   * Monitor trends in employee relations issues and recommend proactive solutions to improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.   * Provide guidance to managers on the consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.   * Support conflict resolution efforts and help facilitate constructive conversations between employees and leaders when needed.   * Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information and workplace concerns.  Performance Management & Employee Development  * Assist managers with performance management processes, goal setting, coaching, and employee development initiatives.   * Support training and development programs that enhance employee growth and organizational effectiveness.   * Help track and coordinate performance review activities.   Employee Experience  * Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers, helping foster a positive, respectful, and productive workplace culture.   * Support benefits administration, enrollment activities, and employee communications.   * Assist with employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and company events.   * Help identify opportunities to improve the overall employee experience.   Qualifications and Skills * Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration  * Experience: 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment  * Demonstrated knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law  * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel  * Demonstrated ability to exercise appropriate judgment  * Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability  * Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills  * Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service  * Strong self-motivation, a team player and a quick learner
