Position Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions, including benefits administration, compliance, employee administration, and performance management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing department initiatives with day-to-day HR operations. Key Responsibilities * Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit matters; providing guidance and support to managers and employees * Administer HR policies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws * Manage employee lifecycle processes (new hires, changes, terminations) * Coordinate benefits administration and assist employees with enrollment and questions * Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data integrity in ADP Workforce Now * Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives * Support training programs and company-wide HR initiatives * Partner with leadership to improve employee engagement and retention * As needed, support full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) * 3+ years of HR Generalist experience * Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in Oregon and Washington * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications * HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) * Oregon and Washington HR experience Compensation & Benefits * Competitive salary: $70,000-$75,000 * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company contribution * Paid time off and holidays * Professional development opportunities How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role. ____ This role in located in the Portland metro area and is not remote.
