REQUIREDPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Human Resources experience required.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required.
  • Prior experience in the recruitment process required.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required.
  • Ability to exercise discretion when handling sensitive/confidential employment information required.
  • Understanding of broad concepts and principles pertinent to Human Resources management operations required.
  • Proven track record of conducting effective investigations, risk mitigative responses, and follow-up to ensure appropriate close-out.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including analysis, knowledge and experience, and judgment required.
  • Experience in a team-oriented HR function across multiple disciplines required.
  • Strong computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as general HR software platforms and internet-based search engines required.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for independently completing a broad range of HR tasks.
  • Performs general HR work and/or projects as appropriate and participates in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Responsible for posting all job openings in accordance with state law.
  • Manage Careers inbox by reviewing resumes, screening applicants, and forwarding to management.
  • Monitor Applicant Tracking System and submit Applicant Tracking report for AAP compilation.
  • Serve as back-up liaison for all Leave of Absence requests.
  • Partake in the orientation process by reviewing benefits and policies with new hires and follow-up to ensure timely insurance enrollment.
  • Coaches, counsels, and guides managers before the execution of employee disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations as needed.
  • Responds to employee and manager inquiries.
  • Responsible for adhering to safety processes and protocols.
