The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you'll be a key contributor across the full spectrum of HR functions — from recruiting and onboarding to compliance, and employee relations. What You'll Do Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manage the full-cycle hiring process, including recruiting events and career fairs Onboard field and office new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience Process background checks and administer drug screening programs Benefits & Leave Administration Communicate benefits information and process enrollment changes and contributions Audit paycheck deductions, benefit enrollments, and PTO balances Employee Relations & Performance Serve as a resource for employee relations matters and performance counseling Support performance evaluation programs and assist in defining career tracks Develop and deliver HR-related training to leaders and employees Compliance & Reporting Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Assist with EEO reporting, required postings, and records management Process employment verifications, security clearance requests, and legal subpoenas HR Operations & Systems Maintain HRIS records and generate reports from the database Audit HR records and create/update procedures to improve processes Provide day-to-day support to the HR team and assist in developing HR staff Compile and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making Travel Local travel to various worksites is required. Requirements Required Education and Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent 5 years of Human Resource Generalist experience Intermediate/Advanced-Level Excel Experience, including but not limited to, proficiency with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, Formulas/Functions, Macros, Data Visualization Preferred Education and Experience Master’s degree in human resources, business, or related PHR or SHRM-CP certification Experience in HRIS systems
