Description

For our client based in Amsterdam, we are looking for an HR Generalist / Payroll Specialist. Do you have good experience with payroll administration and Dutch labour laws? We could be looking for you!

DESCRIPTION

  • Oversee the monthly payroll process together with internal teams and external providers, making sure everything is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Keep employee records up to date in HR systems, covering the full employee lifecycle from onboarding and exit procedures to leave and absence management, in line with Dutch legislation (Wet verbetering Poortwachter).
  • Take care of employment contracts, draft employment confirmations, and provide support to the HR Manager during annual cycles such as salary adjustments and bonus reviews.
  • Manage visa and work permit requests and handle 30% ruling applications, ensuring compliance with Dutch regulations.
  • Act as the contact point with institutions such as UWV, IND, occupational health services, and pension providers, ensuring accurate processing of benefits, absence cases, and related employee data.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new colleagues and make sure all required HR administration is completed throughout their journey with the company.
  • Produce HR reports and maintain high-quality data to support audits, payroll accuracy, and internal monitoring.
  • Take part in HR projects, with a focus on initiatives linked to Reward & Compensation, while also having the opportunity to contribute in areas that match your skills and interests.
