Responsibilities
  • Support the deployment and execution of all HR processes including employee hiring, on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Provide excellent HR service in responding to enquires to drive on-time and practical solutions.
  • Maintain quality data management of employee records and information in the HRIS and personal files in accordance with Company policies, audit guidelines, local laws and regulations and ensure that it is well organised and up-to-date.
  • Verification of Time Management System records for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and keep abreast on all current and new legislations and regulatory rulings.
  • Administer all work pass applications (application, renewal, appeals) and ensure that all Company and employee information are updated accurately with MOM.
  • Work with HR Partners on recruitment planning and timely fulfill manpower to have successful on-boarding.
  • Maintain a favourable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, staff retention and continuous improvement of the Company.
  • Be a central point of contact for the employees, delivering customised and forward looking solutions, programs, policies and any other HR related matters.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances, absence by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations when needed.
  • Maintain knowledge, interpretation and compliance of local Employment Acts, Tripartite Guidelines, Statutory, regulatory rulings and related laws.
  • Prepares HR reports including those required by Government bodies.
  • Participates and assists with HR related projects.

Role Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor degree.
  • Relevant experiences in retail environment as HR generalist.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Good written and oral communications skills.
  • Result-oriented, organised, meticulous with problem solving skills.
  • High initiative, independent and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Hands-on that is proactive, driven and resourceful.
  • Good knowledge of local employment regulations and HR trends.
