The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting employees and leaders across all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and performance management. This role is hands-on and requires someone who is approachable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. Duties and Responsibilities • Support the HR Coordinator and hiring managers with attracting and hiring pilots, maintenance, operations, and corporate staff. • Coordinate onboarding and ensure smooth assimilation of new hires into the organization. • Provide information and answer questions on employee benefit plans and assist with employee enrollment. • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions, providing guidance on policies, procedures, workplace safety and best practices. • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values and commitment to exceptional service. • Support employee engagement initiatives and company events. • Maintain HR scorecard metrics for the HR department. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and aviation industry labor laws and regulations. • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. • Assist with audits, safety, and regulatory documentation as required. • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and goal-setting processes. • Identify training needs and help coordinate learning opportunities for employees. • Assist the leadership team with special projects. • Facilitate additional duties as required. Benefits: • Medical, vision, dental, and life insurance • Short-term and long-term disability insurance • PTO and paid Holidays • 401k with company match Requirements Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in aviation, transportation, or hospitality industries. • Strong knowledge of HR laws and best practices. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality. • Proficiency in utilizing HRIS systems such as Paylocity and MS Office Suite. • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
