HR GENERALIST - RECRUITING FOCUS Join our Human Resources Team at Moab Regional Hospital!   We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting a wide range of human resources functions, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and talent acquisition. The HR Generalist will partner with leaders across the organization to attract, hire, and retain top talent while also providing professional HR support in areas such as employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. This role requires professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to employees and applicants alike. Pay range is dependent on experience. This is a Non-Exempt, full-time, benefitted, year round position. Starting pay range: $25 - $33 per hour, DOE Anticipated schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm  Reports to: HR Director Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:  * Payroll  * HRIS Experience Preferred, Paycor a plus * Benefits Administration * Property Management * Employee Onboarding * Creating a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections * Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters * Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations * Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records * Administer compensation and benefit plans * Creating employee engagement and event plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities * Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances * Educate employees on company benefits package, assist with enrollment, and update payroll records appropriately. * Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies * Responds to employee requests for information or assistance in person, by phone, or through email. * Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form * Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities * Ensure compliance with labor regulations Candidate Requirements: * Human Resources experience preferred, but not necessary  * Strong work ethic  * Excellent customer service skills. * Excellent critical thinking skills and able to make sound, independent judgment calls. * Able to work effectively as part of a small team. * Willing to continually learn and grow personally and professionally. * Humility and a good sense of humor. * Reliable, responsible, and emotionally mature. * Effective and positive communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening. * Able to successfully navigate stressful situations. * Some schedule flexibility to work occasional evening, weekend, and/or early morning. * Ability to work in a confidential manner.
