Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Fresno, California. This role involves managing human resources functions while supporting project coordination and compliance efforts within the chemicals manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring organizational efficiency and adherence to municipal and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage project records in specialized software systems, ensuring accurate tracking of details, budgets, and schedules.
  • Oversee contract administration by sending agreements to subcontractors and clients and securing insurance certificates to meet compliance requirements.
  • Develop detailed cost breakdowns for projects, including labor, materials, and equipment, to support billing and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly project billing statements, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and municipal payment terms.
  • Coordinate and track project submittals, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new employees, ensuring proper documentation, orientation, and compliance with hiring standards.
  • Monitor and verify employee work hours to ensure accurate payroll for field personnel.
  • Organize and maintain training records and certifications to ensure compliance with industry and safety standards.
  • Schedule and notify employees of training sessions and certification renewals to maintain uninterrupted compliance.
  • Support audit preparations and coordinate documentation to meet industry-specific regulatory requirements.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR administration or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in onboarding processes and employee record management.
  • Strong skills in contract administration and insurance compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project billing and financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with software systems for project management and data entry.
  • Experience in coordinating audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with field personnel and cross-functional teams.
