Summary: The HR Generalist – Learning & Development supports various human resources and learning initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulations. This role contributes to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth by helping identify training needs, coordinating learning programs, and curating engaging content. The position involves the tactical implementation and evaluation of HR and learning initiatives that contribute to a positive, client-centric work environment and the overall success of the organization. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Serve as system administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS) to manage course content, track employee progress, and generate reports. Support the design, development, and implementation of HR and learning programs in alignment with organizational objectives. Assist in conducting training needs analyses by collecting data through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers to identify skill gaps. Support the development of learning materials, including eLearning modules, job aids, and guides. Coordinate logistics for training sessions and workshops, using a variety of engaging delivery methods. Collect and analyze feedback and data to identify opportunities for improving learning effectiveness. Maintain the HR compliance training library, partnering with stakeholders for continuous improvement. Assist with relationships with external training content vendors and service providers as assigned. Support HR analytics to measure program impact and prepare regular reports on learning metrics. Ensure all training programs comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Support HR operational activities such as onboarding, performance management, and employee communications, as well as back-up support for other HR team members. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of HR experience with focus on Learning & Development or HR program coordination. General knowledge of HR programs and functions. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, or computer literacy with capability to get to intermediate proficiency via training. Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels within the organization. Familiarity with instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and HR best practices helpful Experience with LMS administration or eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, or Adobe Captivate) preferred. Experience with AI tools (Google Gemini, Canva AI, ChatGPT, et al.) helpful Experience with a HRIS/HCMS helpful Data-driven approach with strong analytical and reporting capabilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize multiple assignments, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Other Requirements: Work location: Parsippany, New Jersey. May be required to work occasional off-hours to support business operations. Occasional travel (approximately 10–15%) to client or other work locations.
