HR Generalist Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing day-to-day HR support in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance. This role partners with employees and management to foster a positive work environment and ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented. Principle Responsibilities * Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, interviews, and new hire orientation. * Support employee relations efforts by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies. * Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and compliance. * Maintain HR records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. * Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives. * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. * Participate in HR projects, process improvements, and policy development. Qualification Requirements Credentials/Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience. * HR Certification preferred. * Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. * Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Demonstrated exposure to and execution of recruitment processes along with the ability to evaluate and select talent. * Ability to handle all situations in a consistent, professional, and confidential manner. * Knowledge of Human Resource procedures, policies, and legislation. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. * Possesses the ability to define problems, evaluate situations and draw valid conclusions. * Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with a variety of people. * Able to communicate respectfully with others and work in a team environment. * Demonstrates strong organizational skills. * Must be self-motivated; able to work with little supervision. * Computer skills in Windows environment and HR tracking systems. * Possesses verbal, written communication, and listening skills. * Able to travel if requested.
