We are: Fighting the region’s opioid epidemic Providing behavioral health support for those experiencing homelessness Lowering barriers to behavioral health for youth and young adults who have had challenges accessing quality care Specialists in serving the needs of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities A family of caring and compassionate providers dedicated to serving the most vulnerable in our community Therapeutic Health Services (THS) is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in Seattle. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations, including: onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, recruitment and maintaining employee records. This is an in-office role and requires travel on an as needed basis to THS service locations in King and Snohomish Counties. The pay for this position is $32.00 - $39.62 an hour. Requirements Prepare new hire materials and coordinate onboarding processes, including orientation sessions Maintain and update the HRIS and employee files (digital and physical) Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including enrollments and troubleshooting Support recruitment efforts including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and developing retention strategies Conduct background checks and employment verifications Verify and track employee credentials, including professional licenses and certifications Ensure HR practices comply with applicable laws, regulations and CARF accreditation standards Provide support for internal investigations and assist in preparing related documentation Contribute to the development and revision of HR policies and procedures Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with staff at all levels Facilitate or support HR-related trainings as needed Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Director Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field plus 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Able to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion Organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification Experience working in a nonprofit, health care or human services organization Familiarity with CARF (Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) standards Proficiency using Paylocity or other similar HRIS systems or databases Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment We offer the following benefits to full and some part-time staff: Employer paid medical/dental/vision insurance package Employer paid life insurance 12 accrued vacations days for year one, up to 20 days in subsequent years 12 days sick leave accrual per year 1 Mental Health Day 1 Personal Day 12 Paid Holidays Flexible Spending Plan 403(b) Retirement Plan
