POSITION SUMMARY

Thom Child & Family Services is seeking an experienced, collaborative HR Generalist to oversee core HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, onboarding, leave management, and compliance. This role serves as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and ensures HR practices align with agency policies, legal standards, and organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years’ HR experience with expertise in benefits, leave management, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, PFML, ADA, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (ADP WFN preferred) and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information, resolve conflicts, and work both independently and collaboratively.
