Description The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations at the plant level and partners with employees and leaders to create a safe, compliant, and engaging workplace. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training support, benefits administration, and safety collaboration. Responsibilities Manage hourly recruiting efforts, including job postings, interviews, and coordination with staffing agencies Conduct plant tours for candidates, new hires, and visitors as needed Prepare and send offer letters in coordination with plant leadership and HR Coordinate new hire onboarding, including background checks, drug screens, I-9s, tax forms, and HRIS data entry Support employee benefits administration and HR policy compliance Participate as a key member of the plant safety team and support safety programs and compliance initiatives Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and culture-building activities Maintain plant headcount levels in partnership with staffing agencies Track and report turnover, retention, and other HR metrics Requirements Qualifications Experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role preferred Manufacturing or plant environment experience a plus Background in Recruiting Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
