Additional voluntary benefits such as STD, LTD, etc. Job Summary The Human Resources Generalist will run the daily administrative functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including maintenance of the HRIS, benefits administration, staff onboarding and projects as assigned. Essential Functions Responsible for all aspects of onboarding new hires, including ensuring accurate completion of the account in the HRIS, completing background checks, I9 compliance, communication with manager, IT, etc. Processes any employee status updates in the HR system, ensuring accuracy and maintaining compliance Maintaining current job descriptions for all employees, including new hires and job changes. Administration of benefits for new hires, life events and status changes. Ensuring the HR system is kept accurate as well as the provider portals. Conducts monthly audit of all changes against provider bills. Monitors license and certification requirements and expirations and works with staff to maintain up to date documentation. Assists with audits as required, including CIHQ Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, and employment law. Works on special projects as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
