Job Description: The Geo Services Specialist role is responsible for providing HR support to the geographies within their scope of responsibility. These roles deliver the HR services that require close physical proximity to business operations and cover one to multiple UPS locations. High-level responsibilities vary by Business Unit on the level of BPO support received but may include management of employee concerns and complaints, inquiry management, implementation of local services and programs to reduce employee turnover, talent acquisition, select onboarding / offboarding activities, and on-site learning facilitation. HR GEO Services Specialist provides support and tactical implementation in the areas of Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Workforce Planning. He/She provides valued solutions to management for the implementation of HR initiatives. The Professional Recruitment associate is focused on attracting premier professional candidates utilizing successful recruiting channels. He/She works with the hiring managers, will select, review and forward prospective candidates for review. He/She will conduct HR fit phone interviews with candidates and will coordinate assessment and functional interviews working directly with the business units. This position examines business report content to develop new formats, improve existing formats, and preserve basic format characteristics. He/She provides administrative support and participates in special assignments. Manages Requisition Process: Ensuring Requisition is raised in Workday & helping functions to raise requisition and updating trackers daily. Conducts candidate sourcing to ensure requisition needs are promptly filled with quality candidates. Evaluates recruiting and interviewing processes and makes recommendations for process improvements. Monitors employment processing to confirm UPS’s compliance with local government and other requirements. Selects, Screens Candidates & Coordinates Interview and Assessment Process: Sourcing potential candidates through different sources. Selects candidates and review resume, identifying those having the basic qualifications for the job. Forwards selected resumes to hiring manager for review. Conducts an HR fit phone interview with the candidates to aid in the selection of the right talent for the right positions within the company. Coordinates the functional interviews with the hiring manager. Follow-up with the hiring manager on interview results / selected candidates. Coordinating with Candidates for documents & Offer letter processing. On Boarding & Off Boarding (Joining Formalities & Personal Files): Completion of joining formalities of all new joiners on the first day of joining and collection of all relevant documents. Updating of personnel files promptly within 6 days of occurrence of event. Designing Induction Plan. Coordinating Exit - Notification to all department, Exit Interview-No dues Clearance, and Full & Final Settlement. Compensation & Benefits: Handling monthly payroll Inputs for employees. Timely & accurate validation of salary inputs & output, audit. Liaising with all government agencies to ensure adherence to compliance laws and regulations. Statutory Compliance - Effective statutory labor compliance by liaising with statutory consultants on ESIC, PF, PT etc. Benefits Administration Employee Concerns / Disciplinary cases (Behavior and Performance {PIP}), IR related activities Performance Management: Keeping track & Preparation of Confirmations / Promotions/ Increments. Planning and timely completion of midyear and annual performance reviews. Audit: Assisting in all types of Audits (Quarterly, Biannually & Annually), Avsec Audits. Responsible for Workday data Audits and ensuring data corrections. HR Administration: Communicating and explaining the organization's HR policies to the employees. Handling administration of all contract labor. Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates/ Leave Administration, Attendance Management, Vendor Management, Reporting Analysis, Relocation Process. Draft and update of documents such as job descriptions, employee handbook, performance appraisal, forms, SOP, policies, and other HR related documents. Skills, Experience & Qualification: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
