Description
At Six Robotics, we build intelligent software that gives Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) the ability to collaborate, adapt on the fly, and execute missions that were previously impossible. From our base in Oslo, our 70+ experts in defence, software, and AI develop our flagship autonomy and swarm platform used by both government and industry. In close partnership with the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI), we move fast from concept to live deployment, often in the field alongside end users. We work with advanced hardware and software, a modern tech stack, and missions that demand both technical mastery and operational discipline. Everyone is close to the action, from deep technical problem-solving to field operations. We move fast and value clarity, integrity, and teamwork in everything we do. At Six Robotics, every person executes with precision, adapts to changing conditions, and strengthens the team. Getting in is hard, and you’ll be challenged every day. But if you have the skill, the discipline, and the drive to push your limits and always be sharpening your blade, you’ll find no better place to deliver real-world impact while collaborating and learning from the best in the field. About The Role We've grown rapidly over the past two years, hiring more than 50 people and building a team of 70+ today. As we continue scaling toward 120+ employees through 2026, growth will remain high, with hiring at a pace of 5+ new employees per month. The challenge is no longer just attracting talent. The challenge is building an organization that can keep up with that growth. Until now, people responsibilities and office operations have largely been handled alongside other functions. We're now ready to bring someone in full-time to own this area and grow with us. This is not a support function. It's a chance to build something and leave a lasting mark on the culture and ways of working at a company doing genuinely important work. You'll be part of the Operations team, working closely with the Head of People, the people team, team leads, and the wider organization. You'll balance hands-on day-to-day tasks with the opportunity to shape and improve how we work as we scale. What You Will Do Because we are growing quickly, the exact priorities in this role will evolve. Things will change, new challenges will appear, and priorities will shift. Some problems will matter more than others depending on where we are in the journey. We do not believe in defining a fixed list of responsibilities that may be outdated before you even start. Instead, this role is about identifying what matters most, focusing your effort where it has the highest impact, and helping the organization stay ahead as it grows. Some of your key tasks will include: Take ownership of day-to-day HR operations and office management Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a positive employee experience and smooth knowledge transfer Handle HR administration, systems, and keep policies up to date in line with regulations and organizational needs Support employees and managers with HR-related questions and employment matters Ensure our office is a welcoming, functional, and collaborative place to work Plan and facilitate company-wide meetings and social events Work with the Operations team to further develop HR practices and processes as Six Robotics scales Be the go-to person for logistics, contracts, and routines that keep things running smoothly What we are looking for You are a recent graduate or finishing your degree this spring, and you believe that good people processes and a strong workplace culture genuinely make a difference. You enjoy creating structure, building relationships, and finding practical solutions. You are as comfortable taking initiative as you are getting the day-to-day done. A master's degree in HR, organizational psychology, management, administration, or a related field Some relevant experience, internship, part-time HR work, or student organization involvement A solid understanding of Norwegian labour law (arbeidsmiljøloven) Strong communication skills, written and spoken, in both Norwegian and English Structured and solution-oriented, with the ability to adapt as priorities shift Able to build trust and act as a natural sparring partner for colleagues and leaders Why You Should Join This is an opportunity to step into a meaningful role early in your career, one where you get to apply what you've studied in a real, fast-moving organization. You'll learn by doing, supported by experienced colleagues who want you to succeed. If you're driven by meaningful problems, technical depth, and the chance to shape something from the ground up, you'll find your place here. A key role with real ownership and influence from day one Close mentorship and genuine room to grow in an ambitious organization Work on problems that matter, supporting a team building technology with direct, real-world impact A flexible, trust-based work environment where clarity, integrity, and collaboration come first Competitive pay, strong pension and insurance plans, and ongoing learning opportunities Our Recruitment Process We aim to keep our process short and sweet, but also thorough. As a small team, every hire matters, and we can't afford to get this one wrong. We are running a fast and focused process in May and will review applications on a rolling basis. Application deadline is May 24th. The start date for this position is June 1st or as soon as possible. Here's what to expect: Initial screening (30 min): A short call with a recruiter to get an initial understanding of your background and motivation Intro conversation (45 min): A deeper conversation with a recruiter to get to know each other better and learn more about Six Robotics and the role Deep-dive interview (90 min): A structured interview with a recruiter and Head of People, including a case exercise and assessments to evaluate role fit and potential Final interview (45 min): A conversation with our COO and CTO, focusing on alignment, expectations, and how you would work with leadership References & offer: Reference checks followed by an offer if all goes well Our Commitment to Inclusion At Six Robotics, we are committed to creating a workplace built on respect, integrity, and collaboration. We value different perspectives and experiences, and we believe that diversity within our team strengthens both our work and our culture. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply and help us build technology that makes a real impact. Security Clearance Requirement All employees at Six Robotics are required to undergo a security clearance due to our close collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces. While prior clearance is not necessary, the clearance process will be initiated as part of onboarding.
