Who Are We: 

A privately owned family business with a solid reputation in the Scrap Metal Recycling Industry. Our primary function is the collection and processing of scrap metal to supply both domestic and international industries that require end-of-life metals to produce new products.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for an experienced HR Truck Driver (or higher) who is reliable, safety-focused and takes pride in their work.

We want someone who drives safely, looks after company vehicles and customer property, communicates well and can be trusted to get the job done.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as required.

What You'll be doing:

• Operating a variety of trucks, including hook, skip, flatbed, Merrell, dog trailer and car carrier
• Completing collections and deliveries safely and efficiently
• Liaising with the Transport Supervisor and customers
• Tracking bin movements and maintaining accurate job records
• Completing pre-start checks and reporting vehicle or site issues

What you need:

• Current HR licence or higher
• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience
• Strong safety awareness and responsible driving habits
• A reliable and professional attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Confidence using a mobile phone/tablet for allocated jobs via ReMatter app
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing
• Hiab crane experience is desirable

Experience with hook lifts, skips, scrap metal, recycling or similar industries will be highly regarded.
