JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As a Summer HR Intern at GE HealthCare, you will assist with HR projects, support with HR compliance tasks, help create and update the Employee Handbook and develop tracking of KPI data. This role offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in HR and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Basic knowledge of labour legislation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a strong emphasis on Excel and data analysis.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR projects, e.g., in DEI, wellbeing.
  • Support HR compliance tasks, including maintaining employee records and ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to create and update the Employee Handbook.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training and development programs.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
