Are you interested in sustainability and looking for hands-on experience in HR? Join us at Kemppi as an HR Intern for 6 months and take part in meaningful projects in an international environment! This is a paid traineeship, and the start and duration of the internship period will be agreed upon based on your availability.
As an intern, you will gain diverse and practical experience in an international environment and work closely with our supportive HR team. Our office is located in Lahti, and we prefer that you can work on-site at least a few days a week.

Managing our summer trainee program (if you have sufficient Finnish skills):

  • Overseeing the employment lifecycle of 15–17-year-old summer trainees working in production
  • Preparing employment contracts and organizing orientation sessions
  • Coordinating work arrangements and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Managing payroll matters and issuing work certificates
Responsibilities

Supporting the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) project:

  • Collecting and coordinating HR-related sustainability data, including from our foreign subsidiaries
  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the collected data
  • Assisting in drafting initial HR content for sustainability reporting.

Managing our summer trainee program (if you have sufficient Finnish skills):

  • Overseeing the employment lifecycle of 15–17-year-old summer trainees working in production
  • Preparing employment contracts and organizing orientation sessions
  • Coordinating work arrangements and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Managing payroll matters and issuing work certificates.

Participating in a variety of HR activities, such as:

  • Supporting well-being activities
  • Producing communication and guidance materials for internal use (e.g. intranet translations depending on your language skills)
  • Assisting with recruitment and training activities
  • Supporting onboarding processes and summer trainee activities.

Please note that the tasks listed above are examples and not exhaustive. You may also be assigned other HR-related duties based on the needs of the HR team and your interests.
