Description

The Human Resources (HR) Manager will oversee and direct all HR operations at Auxilio Partners, ensuring a compliant, professional, and values-aligned internal HR function. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, managing the complete employee life cycle from recruiting to offboarding, and handling employee relations. Additionally, the HR Manager will serve as a strategic HR resource and subject matter expert (SME) to internal staff supporting Auxilio’s church and nonprofit clients, maintaining a high standard of excellence that reflects Auxilio’s mission to serve faith-based organizations.

We’re looking for candidates residing and working in CO, DC, FL, GA, KY, MA, MD, MO, NC, NJ, SC, TN, TX, and VA. Duties/Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of HR management experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and U.S employment laws, including California.
  • Prior experience in HR advisory roles, collaborating with clients and internal teams.
  • Business acumen and the ability to align HR practices with organizational goals.
  • Experience advising organizations on HR compliance and best practices.
  • Multi-state payroll experience and payday law knowledge.
  • Driven to support Auxilio’s mission.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Church or nonprofit HR experience.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or HR certification, such as SHRM-CP/SCP; PHR /SPHR is a plus.

  • Proficient in tools such as Google Workspace and Gusto or similar HRIS/Payroll platform(s) and project management tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Acts with professionalism, discretion, and integrity, protecting confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and clients.
