Job Description The Role As HR Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to our leadership team, partnering with managers and colleagues across the organisation to drive a positive, high-performing, and inclusive workplace culture. You will be responsible for delivering both strategic and operational HR support, ensuring that our people practices align with business objectives while maintaining compliance with Dutch employment legislation. This role is ideal for a well seasoned HR professional with at least five years of experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is passionate about developing talent, supporting leaders, and driving organisational success with a food led business Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership Develop and implement people strategies that support business growth and organisational objectives. Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and organisational effectiveness. Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers & team members across the business. Support change management initiatives and organisational development projects. Employee Relations & Compliance Manage employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary procedures, grievances, absence management, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and employment regulations. Review, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures. Mitigate employment risks through proactive HR support and coaching. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Support recruitment activities and talent attraction strategies. Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. Enhance BaxterStorey's employer brand within the Dutch market. Ensure an exceptional candidate and employee experience. Learning, Development & Engagement Identify development needs and implement learning and development initiatives. Support leadership development and management capability programmes. Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives. Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the organisation. HR Operations Maintain accurate HR records and reporting. Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support business decisions. Oversee HR processes and ensure continuous improvement of people practices. Support payroll, benefits, and reward processes where required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Law, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager role. Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR practices. Proven experience managing employee relations and advising managers on people matters. Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Eligible to work in the Netherlands. Desirable Experience within hospitality, food service, retail, facilities management, or another multi-site operational environment. Experience supporting a growing business through change and transformation.
