OVERVIEW

BIC Electric LLC is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage our HR functions in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and compliance, while also having proficiency in Deltek ComputerEase software. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in shaping our HR processes and strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Deltek ComputerEase software experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) is a plus.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, particularly in establishing HR functions from the ground up.
  • In-depth knowledge of Florida labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and managing offer processes. Develop strategies to attract qualified talent.
  • Onboarding and Training: Design and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires and identify ongoing training and development needs for staff.
  • Policy Development: Create, update, and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a key point of contact for employee concerns, resolve grievances, and foster a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Manage performance appraisal systems and assist managers in handling performance-related issues.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee payroll processing and manage employee benefits programs, including conducting salary reviews and benchmarking.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Workforce Planning: Analyze staffing needs and develop strategies to address employee turnover and retention.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor workplace health and safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
