We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and oversee all human resources functions, support organizational growth, and ensure a positive and compliant workplace environment. Who You Are: The HR Manager serves as a key HR partner, providing comprehensive support across all HR functions. This role focuses on building strong relationships with leadership, ensuring compliance, and driving effective talent and performance management strategies. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who can align HR initiatives with business goals while maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws. What You’ll Do: HR Operations & Business Partnership Serve as the primary HR contact for leadership and management, providing guidance on HR policies, compliance, and employee relations. Partner with internal teams (Payroll, Benefits, Risk, etc.) to ensure timely and effective resolution of HR matters. Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, including employee handbooks and compliance training. Guide leadership in executing HR strategies such as workforce planning, compensation, performance management, and talent acquisition. Ensure compliance with federal and California labor laws. Assist employees with accessing HR tools, systems, and resources. Talent & Performance Management Partner with leadership to develop and implement talent management strategies. Support recruitment efforts, including job design, workforce planning, and hiring processes. Assist in job description development, goal setting, and performance evaluation processes. Provide guidance on employee engagement, retention strategies, and professional development initiatives. Employee Relations & Compliance Advise leadership on handling employee relations matters, including performance issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Conduct and document workplace investigations, ensuring fair and compliant practices. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including ADA, COBRA, EEO, FLSA, and FMLA. Support organizational changes such as restructuring, policy updates, and leadership transitions. Stay current with employment laws and provide proactive HR guidance. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate HR records and documentation on employee relations matters. Track investigations, workforce changes, and other sensitive HR activities. Utilize HR systems and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, HRIS/CRM platforms) to support efficiency and reporting. Lead HR change management initiatives during organizational transitions. Leadership & Expertise Act as an HR subject matter expert for leadership and internal teams. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance HR operations and service delivery. What You Bring Education & Certifications Master’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Knowledge of benefits administration, including COBRA, is preferred. Strong understanding of employment law, HR strategy, and business operations. Experience & Skills Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience in a manufacturing or multicultural environment is a plus. Prior experience in a PEO or HR outsourcing environment is a plus. Strong problem-solving and employee relations skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. High level of integrity, professionalism, and a service-oriented mindset. Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin) and English preferred. What We Offer Competitive compensation.
