Description

We are Bionic, and we’re on a mission to make life radically easier for small business owners, building a one-stop shop for all their business essentials, and giving them an experience so good that they trust Bionic to sort everything for them, forever.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

At Bionic, we’re building something extraordinary - a one-stop shop that makes life radically easier for small business owners. That same energy flows through our workplace: fast-paced, high-impact, and buzzing with innovation. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a HR Manager who shares our drive and wants to be part of a team that’s doing its best work every day.
The role is based within our Outbound Business, partnering with its leadership team to support business goals, enable success, and help colleagues build their most rewarding careers at Bionic. This role will also assist on group activities and take a lead approach in our ER processes and policy.
As the HR Manager, you’ll work closely with the People & Culture Senior Business Partners to help drive Bionic’s business growth and high-performance culture. You’ll be instrumental in shaping a positive and engaging employee experience, fostering great people management practices, and helping to build a truly great place to work.
You’ll champion best-in-class employee relations through open, transparent, and values-driven HR support. Rooted in Bionic’s values and behaviours, your work will be supported by strong governance, clear policy frameworks, data-informed insights, and digital HR systems that elevate the colleague experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a trusted partner to our Outbound Business leaders, building strong, inclusive relationships that drive results.
  • Champion a culture of fairness, respect, and high performance across the business.
  • Lead on complex employee relations cases - from performance and absence to grievances and investigations - always keeping people at the heart.
  • Shape smart, people-first HR policies and manager toolkits that make life simpler and clearer.
  • Deliver training and coaching that empowers our managers to lead with confidence and compassion.
  • Keep us on the right side of employment law with sharp compliance and up-to-date reporting.
  • Run ER “surgeries” open, informal drop-ins that help managers stay ahead of challenges.
  • Partner with Talent and HR Ops to make sure we’ve got the right people, in the right roles, with the right support.
  • Own our people data accuracy in HiBob and turn insights into action.
  • Drive inclusive performance and development practices that help every colleague grow.
  • Support payroll accuracy, process compliance, and smooth onboarding/offboarding experiences.
  • Keep an eye on legislation and trends - and help us stay ahead of the curve.
  • Promote wellbeing and psychological safety, managing our Occupational Health process with care.
  • Help craft clear, inclusive comms that bring our HR activity to life and keep colleagues informed.
