Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field or equivalent training and experience required.
- Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, including strong leadership, talent management, and HR generalist experience; 3 years or more in a leadership and/or business partner role advising senior leaders at a fast-growing, award-winning mid-sized company.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically, with a demonstrated track record of implementing scalable solutions in support of cultural transformation and evolution.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence to establish trust, maintain confidential information and foster strong relationships with leaders, partners and team members at all levels.
- Appetite and determination for growth and innovation.
- Must be collaborative, an innovative thinker, decisive, strategic in thinking and approach, and have a strong results orientation.
- Demonstrate a high sense of urgency, personal energy, and stamina.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities and extensive time demands.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills; demonstrated leadership presence and maturity.
- Strong judgement and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications, including public speaking.

Please note this is an onsite position at our Thorold main office and distribution centre.
