ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
ANY EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE:
Due to the continual growth of the group and a re-shuffle of roles, a generalist HR Manager is required to support the full life cycle of around 100 staff across the 5 companies.
The HR Manager will lead recruitment and onboarding of new staff, liaising with managers and payroll. Following this, reviews and probation will be initiated and outcomes managed.
Leave and absences will be the responsibility of the HR Manager, again liaising with different departments to ensure the correct information is passed onto payroll and the relevant support is provided to staff returning to work.
The HR Manager will navigate disciplinaries and grievances, supporting and advising managers as well as providing appropriate and robust paperwork. They will need to ensure a balance between the needs of the company and staff is met fairly.
Some training will be co-ordinated by the HR Manager along with confirming promotions, ensuring information is passed on to the required people. Maintaining and developing HR policies and procedures, ensuring literature is up to date, will also be part of the role.
Resignations and offboarding is another aspect that will be overseen by the HR Manager.
While the position is stand alone, support will be provided by the current HR Manager who is remaining within the company but whose role is changing. An external organisation will also provide advice and a certain level of cover for HR matters.
This is a great opportunity for a confident and independent HR generalist to lead and nurture a growing company.
