About the role The Human Resources Manager will own the day-to-day HR function for Dynagen Lending, focusing on employee relations, performance management, compliance, and manager support. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure our people systems, policies, and culture scale effectively with the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable operating, advising, and building structure in a fast-paced mortgage environment. What you'll do Employee Relations & Performance Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including performance issues, disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations Coach managers on effective performance management, feedback, and documentation Administer performance review processes and support ongoing performance conversations Partner with leadership on corrective action, improvement plans, and employee development Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Manage HR compliance related to the mortgage industry, including training and documentation requirements Oversee leave administration (FMLA, ADA accommodations, state leaves) Maintain accurate employee records and documentation standards Support audits and regulatory reviews as needed HR Operations & Systems Own HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates Manage HRIS administration (Rippling), ensuring data accuracy and process consistency Develop and maintain HR templates, workflows, and internal SLAs Partner with payroll and benefits providers to ensure smooth administration Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and early attrition Manager Support & Development Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization Support manager onboarding and training initiatives Help implement leadership development and manager capability programs Reinforce company values, expectations, and cultural standards Qualifications 2+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in financial services, mortgage, or a regulated environment Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, and compliance Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Experience administering HRIS platforms (Rippling preferred) Proven ability to coach leaders and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidence Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
